Allegra Communications is a one-person business, owned by me, Eve Léonard. I have been working as a web developer and communications consultant for 10 years.

I have extensive experience in corporate communications, web marketing, graphic design, website and intranet development, and usability. I worked as an employee and a consultant for both small and large organizations, so I understand their different challenges and opportunities.

Although I love to create attractive designs, in recent years I have chosen to concentrate on the more practical side of the web. Too many websites and intranets do more harm than good by being confusing and ineffective, and because of my down-to-earth approach, I naturally gravitated towards usability, which aims to make everything (not just websites!) simpler and more efficient.

I am a member of the Usability Professionals Association and of the Association des professionnels de l'intranet (Intranet Professionals Association). I write articles for Lucid Web, whose goal is to help business owners and website developers to make their websites more user-friendly. I live in Montréal, Canada, and I have clients from all over the world.
